Dear Friends,

We wanted to say a few words on behalf of Glenda's Family. Glenda never let her disability define her during her short 22 years. She lived life to the fullest and was always concerned more about others than herself. She leaves behind a loving, grieving community - one that Glenda loved with all of her heart. She was known for her kindness and her love of laughter which was reflected in her bright attitude and loving spirit.

We had the honor of being her parents, sister, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, but she belonged to the entire community. That is why the Glenda Gooch House is so important to our family. Her gift to the community is that the guests of the Glenda Gooch House will have a place to stay at no cost to them, and be close to their loved ones during times of illness. It is a way for her loving spirit and legacy to live on. Glenda passed away on January 29, 2008 and we know that she is smiling down upon us with her blessing. May you find comfort in your time of need and God bless you.

Sincerely,
The Family of Glenda Gooch
